May 9, 2006 Meeting

During our May 2006 meeting at City Cigar, Club President Bas Stevens talked about his passion for Stanwell pipes and the leading Danish Master Pipe Makers they have been associated with since 1942. Examples from Bas' extensive Stanwell collection provided evidence of the quality and variety of their products. At the conclusion of his presentation, Bas raffled off a vintage Stanwell counter display card, which was won by Jim Turner. Jim, in turn, donated it to the club for a future raffle.
